Sketchbooks

Someone asked me recently if they could look through one of my sketchbooks and I'll be honest - I panicked! Sketchbooks have alway been very personal for me- It's like someone reading your journal.

This is what I get for getting caught drawing someone in public. I gave in and let this perfect stranger thumb through my book. I was antsy, trying desperately to look like I didn't care. After it was all over I decided it wasn't so bad and I should share more, so here are a few from my current sketchbook...

When I'm out and about I tend to draw people I see. These are mosly ink and or watercolor pencil. I do post some of my sketchbook drawings on my Instagram account ( shameless plug! ). I'm hoping to post more this year.
